Not only do we see them in their shows but also in the handfuls of tabloid news channels, reviews, trends, fashion, style, photos, magazines, that were only made for us to live vicariously through the lives of celebrity gossips.

Rich and famous

These celebrities lead such glamorous lives loaded with spontaneity and decadence which offers us a great getaway from the average world known as everyday life. The reality that their lives are what story book anecdotes and movies are made of makes it more then standard that the rest of us would take notice. The question that is repeatedly asked is whether it’s the vivacious lives they live that really is the captivation or if it is the lack of ambition in our own lives that causes us to want to watch these celebrities.

Celebrity obsession is positively nothing out of the ordinary. If anything you would have thought we as a whole would have felt more accustomed to and quite weary of celebrities by now. As far back as you attempt to go in history you will take heed that we have built celebrities to be almost royalty in the sense that not only does our society wish to see and hear their every movement and action of these celebrities but wealthy corporations realize that we value the opinions and endorsement of these superstars more then we rely on our own. Tune in your television and you will be blitzed with celebrities pushing everything from diet plans to fast food chains. Can you grasp the irony of all of this? We as a society provide support to these celebrities to such and extent that they have so much financial gain yet we now put them in a spot to make added money by us believing in the products they promote.

Do we all actually want to be celebrities?

Well, the retort is yes and no. The notion is that not many of us are apt enough to succeed in sports or entertainment and plenty of us would not care to be pestered with the burdens that come with the life of a celebrity. However, every one of us, whether it is in our home life or at work, do help and would love to feel appreciation for what we do every day.

• When is the last time your Mom was noticed for doing a fantastic job?
• When was the last time a full camera crew got to your house and told you what a wonderful DIY job you did in creating nice decoration?

The point I am trying to make clear here is that generally when we keep track of these celebrities with such commendation it is not the fact that they are famous and rich that gets our attention, it’s just the fact that others care about what they do!

What a great world it would be if we could all at least want to be celebrities in our own lives. Cleaning, being the family chef, and hard work may not be glamorous but it can and should be commended. Next time you catch yourself wanting to watch and admire a celebrity on the television pick up the telephone and give a friend or family member a ring and give them the attention that may cause them feel like these celebrities do.

Star People

Not everybody believes in Star People but to those who believe, the term is an extraterrestrial concept. Star people are otherwise called star seeds and it is believed that all humanity is made up of such Star Seeds and we have lived as other life forms on other planetary systems.

The term Star People is also the title of one of the more popular albums of Jazz Musician Miles Davis, released in 1983, although it is unclear whether it bears any relation to the extraterrestrial definition held here.
